History of Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary
Conrad Lemon Grove Mortuary was established in 1954 by the Conrad Family. Kenneth and Marian Conrad and their 16-year-old son, Gary, purchased a building which had been a hardware store in Lemon Grove, California.
In 1960, Gary Conrad was married to Donna, who joined the Conrad family in serving families in Lemon Grove, La Mesa, Spring Valley, El Cajon, San Diego and the surrounding communities. Kenneth Conrad passed away in 1974, followed by Marian Conrad in 2000.
Gary and Donna’s three sons, Gary Jr., Greg and Grant, all worked in the family business, and Grant joined his parents full time in 1997. The Conrads have been privileged to work together as a family, and have been honored to serve local families throughout the years. We take pride in offering a beautiful facility and the finest services to the families we are privileged to serve.
Today, we are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers.
